Dr. David Mireles has been providing orthodontic care in San
Antonio, Texas (The Alamo City ) since 1972. Dr. Mireles has treated
over 10,000 patients so there is a good chance that one of your
friends, relatives, or acquaintances has a beautiful smile due
to his expertise. Dr. Mireles went to the University of Texas
in Austin for his undergraduate studies. He received his dental
degree (DDS) and his orthodontic degree (MS) from the University
of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Dr. Mireles has a reputation
for finishing patients with the highest quality of orthodontic
results. In fact, Dr. Mireles was recognized
by "Texas Monthly" as one of the best orthodontists
in Texas (2007). For this
reason, many dentists (some of the best dentists) in San Antonio
refer their patients to him.
Dr. Mireles has treated many dentists, dental assistants and hygienists-professionals
who have been trained to be able to tell the difference between
what looks "pretty good" as compared to what looks great
and functions well. To stay on the "cutting edge", Dr.
Mireles attends many continuing education courses so that he can
provide his patients with the most up to date orthodontic treatment.
He has also taken many courses in TMJ disorders (jaw joint dysfunction)
and craniofacial pain. This knowledge is important to the good
health, comfort, and piece of mind of our patients.

Dr. Mireles is an Invisalign Premier Provider. Approximately
5% of all Invisalign practitioners in North America qualify
for Premier Provider status. This means that Dr. Mireles has
more experience than most and treats the more difficult cases
that others would not treat!
Besides constantly attending continuing education courses, Dr.
Mireles shares his expertise with his orthodontic colleagues
by lecturing both nationally and internationally. It is the
combination of Continuing Education plus 35 years of experience
that gives our patients the confidence of knowing that they
are in good hands. Dr. Mireles has been a spokesman for the
American Association of Orthodontists at one of their national
meetings and has been a spokesman for the San Antonio Association
